29th August 2017 Peer pressure! Since I've launched my web site and Facebook page, I've received many messages for not having any photos of me doing 'fancy' poses. Being the 'Stone Age' woman that I am (as a very good friend calls me) I'm surprised: I thought the instagram yogi phase was over. As usual, I'm wrong! I don't do 'fancy' poses anymore in my daily practice. I focus on very slow, active movement with natural breathing. Working this way brings about a meditative state almost instantly for me. However, here's one of my favorite 'fancy' poses: Hanumanasana. I practice Hanuman as we yogis call it, only when my breath is laboured. Hanuman has a powerful effect on breathing. When my breath is jammed in my chest which also means my mind is frantic, I stay in Hanuman until I feel a change. Everything falls into place when you do poses at the right time and place.

Honouring the change it brings. The fullness of potential Reflections are falling upon me Generously You receive only as much as the space you take up. Fullness of the moon Holds my hand Guiding me Feeling my void.
